Press released by MoCTCA regarding the decision of Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality- 9 Oct 2017

As per the press statement issued by Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), the ministerial level decision of 2074/06/20 (2017 Oct 6) mentioned that the procedure to form act related with the authority of local level to raise tax is in process, hence, there is no change in the present system of raising TIMS and service charge by Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) respectively.

Nepal Paramedical Training 2017- 22 Oct 2017

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) in coordination with Taplejung Everest Summiteers Association successfully conducted Nepal Paramedical Training 2017 on 17th October at Godawari Almuni Association (GAA), Thamel. 17 trainees participated in the three day training conducted from 17-19 Oct 2017.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peace Pick-Axe handover program- 23 Oct 2017

Mr.ArashGhiasyan and Mr. Ali Rahmani from Iran Mountaineering & Sport Climbing Federation handed over the peace pick axe to NMA President Mr. Santa Bir Lama for the display at International Mountain Museum, Pokhara on 23rd October 2017.

 

Participation in Union of International Alpine Association (UIAA) and Union of Asian Alpine Association (UAAA) GA 2017- 18 Oct 2017

NMA Vice President Deebas Bickram Shah and General Secretary Kul Bahadur Gurungreturned Nepal after participating General Assembly of UIAA and UAAA organized by Iran Mountaineering & Sport Climbing Federation from 19 - 23 Oct 2017 at Iran.  Immediate Past President and Honorary member of UIAA Ang Tshering Sherpa was also in Iran to participate in the assembly.
