The Executive board meeting held on 1st October 2015 formed the Award selection Committee 2015. Members of the committee were:

Press Conference- 16 Oct
NMA organized a press conference on 16 October 2015 at NMA secretariat for the attempt of a Japanese climber Kuriki Nobukaju to climb Eerest without oxygen. He is the first climber to attempt Everest after earthquake and climbed up to 8200m. On the organized conference president of NMA handover the climbing certificate to him for his successful ascent to Mt. Lobuje.

Press Conference -19 Oct
In Reference to the letter from Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation dated 2072/06/27, Ref No: 114 Department of Tourism is issuing climbing permits for all the mountains managed by NMA with effect from 16th Oct 2015 (29 Ashoj 2072). Thus NMA organized the press conference to inform cancellation of NMA's authority of issuing climbing permits to mountains and show solidarity against unilateral decision of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation on 19 October at 3:00 pm at NMA secretariat.

Participation in UIAA and UAAA GA 2015
NMA President Ang Tshering Sherpa led the delegation team for the General Assembly of UIAA and UAAA held in Korea from 20 - 25 Oct 2015. The other members of the team are Gobinda Bahadur Karki- Director General, Department of Tourism, Zimba Zangbu Sherpa- IPP,Santa Bir Lama- Ist VP, Deebas Bikram Shah-IInd VP, Thakur Raj Pandey- General Secretary, Tika Ram Gurung- Treasurer, Cheban Debkota- Board Member, Bimal Naharki-Board Member and Churim Sherpa-Board Member.
