UIAA General Assembly & UAAA General Assembly - 10 OctThe General Assembly of Union of International Alpine Association was concluded in Netherlands from 10-13 Oct 2012. NMA President led the participating team of NMA for the assembly with the following members.

He was the president of the Mountaineering and Climbing Association of the Netherlands from 2006 to 2012 He was a member of the UIAA Management Committee for six years. He has climbed major peaks in North and South America, Europe, Russia, Africa and the Himalaya including Mount Everest. He is also an active ski mountaineer. Ang Tshering Sherpa elected for honorary member of UIAA- 13 OctNMA's Immediate Past President Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa was elected Honorary Member of Union of International Alpine Association (UIAA). General Assembly of UIAA held on 13 Oct in Netherlands endorsed his honorary membership. Ang Tshering Sherpa expressing his gratefulness after being elected honorary member of UIAA. UAAA General Assembly, Korea, 18 -19 Oct 2012General Assembly of Union of Asian Alpine Association (UAAA) was held in South Korea from 18- 19 Oct 2012. NMA President led the participating team of NMA for the assembly with the following members.
UAAA General Assembly, Korea, 18 -19 Oct 2012 UAAA General Assembly & IFSC Climbing World Cup 2012NMA also recommended Mr. Prem Gurung to participate UAAA General Assembly & IFSC Climbing World Cup 2012 held in Mokpo, Korea from 17~22 Oct 2012. The program was organized by Korean Alpine Federation (KAF) under the approval of International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) and Asian Mountaineering Federation (UAAA). Asian Cup, Chengdu- 30 OctNMA has nominated the following three climbers to participate in Asia Cup 2012 to be organized by Chinese Mountaineering Association from 3- 4 Nov 2012. The climbing competition is approved by International Federation of Sport Climbing.
Taiwan Mountaineering Conference 2012NMA President will participate in Taiwan Mountaineering Conference 2012 to be held in Taiwan from 2 - 3 Nov 2012. He will present his paper in Trekking in Nepal and International Mountain Museum in the conference. The program is going to organized by Taiwan Alpine Culture Association. |
