Everest Women 7 Summits Eco-Action ascended Mt. Kosciuszko -7 July
The team members of Everest Women 7 Summits Eco-Action successfully ascended Mt. Kosciuszko on 7 July at 12:30 am local time. They made nine presentations at various schools and communities on the impact of climate change on the Himalayas. The Non-Resident Nepalese residing in Sydney organized a felicitation program in honor of team on 8 July for their successful summit.

MoTCA Secretary visited NMA- 8 July
The newly appointed Secretary for Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Kishore Thapa visited NMA Secretariat on 8 July 2010. He was welcomed by the executive board members of NMA. NMA President Mr. Zimba Zangbu Sherpa and Immediate Past President Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa briefed him about the past and ongoing activities of NMA. MoTCA Secretary thanked NMA board members for inviting him NMA visit and assured support and cooperation needed by NMA in the future.

Basic Mountaineering Course 2010- 25 July
NMA announced the commencement of its regular program Basic Mountaineering Course 2010 from 15 August 2010.
