As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and Nepal Mountaineering Association to hoist the flag of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) atop Mt. Everest on the occasion of 75th Anniversary of ICAO NMA Executive Board Member Mr. Pasang Tendi Sherpa hoisted the flag on the top of Mt. Everest on 23rd May 2019.
