Protocol agreement to be renewed- 17 April 2012

NMA will sign a protocol agreement with Nagano Mountaineering Association on 8 May 2012 to renew the protocol agreement. The agreement was signed on 10 Jan 2005 in Kathmandu. The basic objective of signing the agreement was to establish a formal relationship between two associations by sharing information on mountain climbing and mountain climbing techniques. On the basis of this agreement, both the associations have been regularly participating in each other's program and sharing information on climbing techniques and alpine news. The agreement is found to be the platform to share knowledge and skills about mountain and mountaineering. Hence, NMA- Nepal evaluated the proposal forwarded by NMA- Japan very positively and decided to move ahead for the renewal of this agreement. In order to make this signing ceremony a memorable one, NMA-Nepal is organizing a formal program on 8 May 2012 at Hotel Ganzong, Lazimpat in the gracious presence of State Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Secretary for Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, delegates from NMA-Japan and with some other mountain lovers.
